Briefly describe the property’s main characteristics. Do the key structures/immediate site retain their original character? Are there open space issues? What does the surrounding area look like? What is the overall condition? If a building, is it vacant or occupied?

HISTORICAL/ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE
Briefly state the historical or architectural significance of the property and its relevance to Dallas. Is the property recognized by the City of Dallas as a landmark or part of a landmark district? Is it listed as a Texas landmark or on the National Register of Historic Places? Include any designation forms, if available.

THREAT
What is the nature of the threat to the property? Types of threats include demolition, arson, neglect, inappropriate rehabilitation, too intensive development, vandalism, and/or a pending sale or foreclosure without preservation restrictions in place. Please place a time frame on the threat, e.g., next month, six months, twelve months, and beyond.

COMMUNITY COMMITMENT
Does the community or neighborhood support the preservation of the nominated resource? Has the Dallas Landmark Commission reviewed this property at any time for a demolition or rehabilitation? Are there any suggestions or plans for the reuse of the property, if appropriate? Please attach appropriate newspaper articles, editorials or other information that might be helpful.
